Industrial applications of Intelligent Systems

Abstract

Today’s industrial systems increasingly need systems that are flexible, adaptable to new situations, robust, easy to handle and understand, scalable to new computational requirements and, above all, capable of interoperating in heterogeneous environments. To develop these types of computing solutions, the Information Technology-Artificial Intelligence Group (GTI-IA) offers its specialized knowledge and updated tools for consulting on Intelligent Systems technology in R&D&I of industrial applications. Likewise, the GTI-IA has expert personnel in requirements elicitation of current industrial problems, extensively trained in the use of intelligent requirements specification tools, and for the interaction with potential users of these systems. The GTI-IA also offers specific advanced tools and expert personnel in the analysis and design of flexible and scalable intelligent systems for industrial applications. It also has researchers extensively trained in the implementation of industrial systems using state-of-the-art Intelligent Systems technology and tools. Finally, it also offers support for the maintenance and management of intelligent solutions for industrial problems. The staff with expert knowledge in R+D+i and the cutting-edge technology offered make it possible to develop robust, reliable, flexible, adaptable, scalable and closer to the problem domain solutions, offering an intelligent work environment, which can act not only as an automatic computing system but also as a decision support system with expert knowledge.
