At VRAIN, research at the intersection of AI, privacy, and security addresses two complementary challenges: applying AI techniques to cybersecurity, and ensuring that AI systems are themselves secure, private, and trustworthy.
Work in this area includes AI-based systems for threat detection and cyber defence, methods to protect AI models from adversarial attacks, and techniques for handling sensitive data responsibly. Research also covers cryptographic protocol design for secure access control and electronic voting systems, ensuring anonymity and verifiability while maintaining system integrity. Additional lines of work address secure multi-agent systems with trust mechanisms and privacy-preserving machine learning.
