UPV joins the National Network of Excellence in Cybersecurity Research (RENIC)
The Universitat Politècnica de València has joined the National Network of Excellence in Cybersecurity Research (RENIC). It has done so through its Artificial Intelligence Research Institute-VRAIN, the Distributed Real-Time Systems and Applications Group (GSATRD) and the Cybersecurity Research Group.
Both the institute and the two research groups have a long experience in the field of cybersecurity and have led multiple projects of international excellence in the area for decades. The collaboration of these leading researchers with that of all RENIC members will generate synergies and increase the Spanish research potential in the area of cybersecurity.
The Red de Excelencia Nacional de Investigación en Ciberseguridad (RENIC) is a sectorial association that includes research centers and other agents of the research ecosystem in cybersecurity in Spain. RENIC’s main purpose is to promote scientific research, technological development, innovation, knowledge and technology transfer to industry and the development of R&D&I projects in the cybersecurity sector in Spain.
